Rudderless
Well-known screenwriter, William H. Macy makes his feature film directorial debut with the new musical-drama Rudderless. Unlike its box office competitors this weekend, Rudderless will be seeing a co-release though on-demand ordering at home if you don’t happen to make it out this weekend.
The new film stars Selena Gomez, Felicity Huffman and Laurence Fishburne and centers around a grieving father’s life that spirals out of control when an unfortunate and tragic death happens to his son. Upon drinking away his sorrows though alcohol, he has a life changing experience after finding a box filed with his son’s pre-recorded music material before his passing. After taking some time to learn the music, he decides to perform the music at a local bar and comes a across an unlikely person, to form a rock band and bring positivity to their life.
