Movies To Watch This Weekend (September 26)

Jimi: All I Need By My Side

For some reason, we really wished All Is by My Side was released during the summer when nothing was going on. With the fall flood of TV series, sports and movies all returning after a dull summer, we’re hoping the official Jimmy Hendrix biopic doesn’t get overlooked. So far its been receiving an underwhelming response, but that doesn’t mean the forthcoming British-Irish drama film won’t be one of the best motion pictures you’ll see this year.

André Benjamin 3000 assumes the role of the legendary musician, to give fans a glimpse into his rise to fame from being a backup artist in the NYC Cheetah Club, to becoming one of the largest London and international musicians of all time.

The new release is receiving mixed reactions, including some of his closest peers from the past speaking up saying some storylines are fictitious. Whether the masses and reviewers receive the film well, any publicity is good publicity for one of the biggest stories in music.
