Previous cinematographer, Wally Pfister makes his directorial debut with the highly-anticipated science fiction film Transcendence. Starring Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, and Morgan Freeman, Transcendence centers on ability of computers to change the landscape of the word through the human brain. Thus far, it hasn’t performed well this weekend with no signs of picking up before Monday morning. We’re not saying this film is not watchable, but if you’re looking to expand your movie taste, Transcendence definitely offers enough original content to keep your attention for its 2 hour plus duration.
