The weekend is finally here, which means we’ll be hitting up the theaters during the next 72 hours to check and see what’s hot on the big screens. Last week, the biggest eye raisers were the over success of drama film Heaven Is for Real totaling $34 million in its opening outing and the underachieving performance of Wally Pfister’s $100-million directorial debut Transcendence; which only racked in $30M. With Columbia and Marvel set to terminate everything in sight next weekend with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Rio 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier will have at least one more weekend as the top movies.
The box offices will be seeing a nice range of films from action-adventure, horror and the movie everyone’s talking about being The Other Woman. After the jump, you can see what’s in theaters this weekend and what you should be watching with Popcorn and in our case a Gpen.
