Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Following the success of the highest grossing film to date in 2014, Transformers:Age of Extinction, Michael Bay is back for another box office smasher this weekend. With the series nearing its 25th anniversary, and the first entry into the TMNT since 2007, we’re finally granted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the official reboot stars Megan Fox, Johnny Knoxville (voice for Leonardo), Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, Tony Shalhoub, William Fichtner, and Will Arnett. Earlier this week, the Mexico City premiere a few weeks back, the $125 million produced film from Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures sees a return to NYC and the 4 animated turtles must once again try to save the day from Super Shredder and his evil cohorts.
While the plot is pretty simplistic and an obvious outcome awaits, long-time fans of the series and newcomers should be able to enjoy a few new CGI effects and revamped storyline to keep interest high through the sitting.
