Jessie Zwicks drama, About Alex has left some intrigue for us to at least pay attention to this weekend. Starring Nate Parker, Jason Ritter, and Maggie Grace, the new film centers on a group of college friends nearing their 30s reunite for a 3-day weekend. Upon learning one of them recently attempted suicide, the group soon finds initial spark in old flames but extended time together without discussing former issues could soon be seeing them on the brink of losing communication forever.
While this American reunion will offer less comedic storylines, the drama is receiving an above average rating, which we’re expecting to be a hit or miss among the late 20 to early 30 demographic of viewers.
