With nearly 3 billion generated in total revenue over the last two years, the series unfortunately comes to and end tonight with the last installment dubbed, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Sacrificing friendship and honor, Thorin Oakenshield’s last journey sees himself seeking the Arkenstone, following his reclaiming of Erebor and large treasure recovery from dragon Smaug.
With the fate of Middle Earth uncertain, everyone within the Lonely Mountain must unite or face the ultimatum of imminent extension. If you’ve yet to watch any of the previous installments of The Hobbit, Netflix would be your best friend this weekend to catch up on the last two films, so you can have something to enjoy this weekend with meaningful College Football games on a break the next two weeks.
