Seventh Son
Much like the previously mentioned Jupiter Ascending movie, we have another epic fantasy release tonight, Seventh Son. Based on original book, The Spook’s Apprentice, the forthcoming starring Ben Barnes, Jeff Bridges, and Julianne Moore centers on a malevolent witch Mother Malkin (Moore); who’s out to get revenge for being prisoned over centuries, by supernatural champion Master Gregory (Bridges). Accompanied by an army to spread her dark magic on humanity, Gregory only has until the next full moon to spread knowledge to new apprentice Tom Ward (Barnes). Since its France premiere last December, Universal Pictures is looking to recoup its $95 million investment and will need a heavy campaign of promotion to add onto its upcoming box office revenue this month.
