Here’s whats new to start 2015!
Much like last week, the first weekend of 2015 begins with only two new releases in theaters. Sony’s controversial release The Interview generated $15 million in streams in its first weekend and nearly $3 million at the box offices. While that’s far less than their $44 million budget, Seth Rogen’s North Korea experience will be a box office gem, when it’s quietly rolled out more theaters this month. The first month of the New Year has standout releases in the likes of Spare Parts, Wild Card, Mortdecai and The Boy Next Door. While the initial entry to 2015 may seem lackluster in depth of selection this weekend, there are two releases you can preview in the pages to follow.
