The Woman in Black: Angel of Death
British Horror film, The Woman in Black: Angel of Death has been pushed up from a January 30 release to make an early splash to theaters tonight. Starring Phoebe Fox, Jeremy Irvine, Helen McCrory and Adrian Rawlins – the film centers on a group of school youths evacuated during the Blitz of World War II in London. Eve, the children’s school teacher leads the students to an estranged estate, known as the haunted Eel Marsh House.
She soon discovers each of the kid’s sporadically become different from their normal selves, which she must confront her own demons to save the children – while surviving the woman in the black. With military commander Harry also present, the 40-year haunting of the house’s darkest inhabitant is awaken once again; but most be stopped. So far, the film’s received mediocre reviews, but a horror release before romantic comedies takeover theaters once again is something fresh for casual movie goers this weekend.
