One of the bigger snubs for the Golden Globe Awards last weekend was Jennifer Aniston’s performance in Cake. While the project is set to receive an imminent Academy Award nomination, Aniston will soon have a chance to show the masses why her performance in Cake is receiving rave reviews. Jennifer also partook in production for the project, as she assumes the role of an acerbic woman by the name of Claire Bennett. While she’s dealing with personal issues of her own, she soon unravels details of a suicide from Nina Collins, who was previously in her chronic-pain support group. Her husband Roy Collins is still dealing with the major loss, as Claire tries to unravel more details and reasons why she made the ultimate decision. Also starring Adriana Barraza, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Anna Kendrick, and Sam Worthington – Aniston’s role in Cake is one not to miss this winter.
