Hercules
Awkwardly, this year sees the release of two brand new Hercules films. The Legend of Hercules released at the top of the year in January and was met with a lukewarm response, even with a $70 million budget. The release tonight for Hercules (distributed by Paramount Pictures and MGM), sees Dwayne Johnson as its main attraction and box office trojan horse this weekend. With the lack of new films releasing this month that draw a parallel to the superhuman lane, we expect Hercules to surpass its $110 million budget before the months end.
