Insidious: Chapter 3
Although it’s not October, summer-time thrillers are always something that’s necessary when it’s time to kick back and take a deep breath (or puff) of air. Leigh Whannell (Specs from the film) makes his official directorial debut tonight in the third installment of the Insidious series. Starring Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Angus Sampson and Lin Shaye – Insidious: Chapter 3 serves as a prequel to the first two films.
So if you haven’t seen the first two projects, this quality supernatural horror film is something you can enjoy while waiting on the 9pm Sunday night start of game two of the NBA Finals. For those in the known of the Lambert family and their dark past, this prequel explains everything from Elise has initial visions about the dead trying to enter her body and helping the Brenner family by contacting the non-living.
