Hot Pursuit
The great Anne Fletcher’s long-awaited release of Hot Pursuit is finally making its way to theaters. The Warner Bros. Pictures action-comedy stars Reese Witherspoon and Sofía Vergara, uses a similar trend from Thelma & Louise, with two on the run from criminals and dirty cops. Reese assumes the role of Officer Cooper to protect and serve Daniella (Vergara), who’s widow of a drug dealer. While the film may have a generic title and storyline, there’s enough sexiness and random hilarity for the two’s race through the gauntlet of pursuits to take out the widower for keeping your attention through the presentation. If you’re all caught up with new releases and series on TV or digital, this is a must see this weekend when the NBA playoff games are off.
