Movies To Watch This Weekend (August 26, 2016)

Hands of Stone

If you remember last year, Floyd Mayweather Jr. revealed his favorite boxer of all-time was Roberto Duran. With many younger boxing viewers hitting up YouTube to gain a sense of how great the legendary fighter was, his story finally arrives to the box offices tonight. Starring Édgar Ramírez, Robert De Niro, Usher, Ruben Blades, Ellen Barkin, Ana de Armas, Oscar Jaenada, and John Turturro – we’re presented the new biographical sports film, Hands of Stone.

The presentation follows the life and career of the legend, who made his professional debut in 1968 at the age of 16 and retired in 2002 when he was 50. Through the help of his trainer Ray Arcel, the two help each other’s lives in-and-outside of the ring. For any avid sports movie lover and biographical film watcher, we’d definitely recommend this for all viewers.
