Mechanic: Resurrection
Remember the 2011 action-thriller film, The Mechanic? Well, the project is seeing an official sequel arrive to theaters tonight, entitled, Mechanic: Resurrection. Starring Jason Statham, Tommy Lee Jones, Jessica Alba and Michelle Yeoh – things pick right back up five years after its original outing.
Following the demise of his partner-turned-enemy, Arthur Bishop finds himself retired as a contact killer. After narrowly escaping Steve McKenna’s murder attempt on him, Arthur is forced out of retirement when the love of his life, Gina, is kidnapped. Forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, Arthur must make the three murders look like accidents.
Whether or not he’s reunited with Gina remains to be seen, we’re sure original lovers of the first effort will find this one interesting. This is kind of our only must-see film.
