The Intervention
Another Sundance Film Festival stand-out release from last January arrives to theaters tonight. Starring Clea DuVall, Melanie Lynskey, Natasha Lyonne, Vincent Piazza, Jason Ritter, Ben Schwartz, Alia Shawkat and Cobie Smulders – The Intervention is finally presented to the masses tonight.
The film centers on four couples who go on a weekend getaway, as one of the couples discovers the outing is an intervention for their marriage. Throughout the trip, the other three couples hatch a plan to tell two good friends that they should get a divorce.
With the married couple reaching a boiling point of being around each other, we’re just hopeful this gem doesn’t get overlooked tonight by movie goers.
