Aziz Anzari Strikes Again
Master of None has been out for a week now, and it’s been getting some great reviews for the amount of soul Aziz Ansari put into it. Aziz plays the role of a typical 30-year old coming to terms with himself in New York, and he does a terrific job at it through the life Dev and his social life, dating and work. His real life mother and father, Fatima and Shoukath, even play the role of his parents.
Aziz has been on a campaign to point out how diversity in current television is not the norm, even though shows like Fresh Off The Boat are gaining popularity, but Master of None does a great job of putting things into perspective as our world becomes more and more diverse.
He tackles subjects like interracial relationships, cultural differences between generations and doesn’t rely on stereotypes to get his point across.
After watching the first season, we listed some of things we loved about the 10 episodes (spoilers, obviously).
