One more month left. . .
Surprisingly, Netflix hasn’t released an official trailer for their upcoming fifth season of House of Cards. However, with show set to return next month, Entertainment Weekly gives a first look at the new season. In the season four finale, last year, Frank and Claire Underwood officially reunited to go head-to-head with a terrorist – following their heated Presidential Election battle.
Unfortunately, season five was completed before Donald Trump’s victory last fall; so there won’t be any subtle shade or mention thrown at the current stateside commander-in-chief.
As Clair and Frank look to repair their marriage, Doug Stamper and Leann Harvey are also in the wings monitoring their every move at the oval office. Check out the photos below and look for season five of House of Cards to premiere on Netflix this May 30th.
