The NBA started up tonight and Nike picked the perfect opportunity to pay homage to LeBron James with their new ad spot. In the clip, King James narrates what it’s been like for kids who went against all odds and made it. Whether that meant out of their neighborhood, as a success in life or just proving everyone wrong. You can argue the message runs parallel to what LBJ has experienced in his life.
But at the end, LeBron’s famous run from behind block shows up, just before he makes a cameo.
