It took 52 years for the city of Cleveland to see a championship, a wait so long that most did not even believe it would come. It spawned a 30 for 30 titled BELIEVELAND, but with the city now out of the drought thanks to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, it is time to celebrate.
Nike dedicated a commercial for the occasion, dubbing this “Worth The Wait” ad spot, showing plenty of folks from CLE watching the magic unfold on TV like the rest of his did. Except to them it’s extra special, because it’s their city. The emotions couldn’t be more overwhelming for adults and kids alike. All hail to the KING.
After years of holding its breath, Cleveland can finally breathe easy.
