The Day After Tomorrow meets California?
With the weather warming up in a few weeks, the box offices will be even hotter with numerous spring and summer blockbuster titles. Warner Bros. Pictures has put well-over $100 million into their imminent box office smash, San Andreas. CJ and the Grove Street are absent from this motion picture, but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in his next action-adventure project, which is based around a natural disaster in San Francisco.
After a magnitude 9 earthquake hits the entire California, Ray (Rocky) is on a mission to leave Los Angeles and travel north to the Bay Area with one goal in mind – to rescue his daughter Blake with estranged wife Emma. From the creepy California Dreamin’ cover, get blown away (literally) with the two minute trailer showcasing destruction from Hollywood to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Also starring Kylie Minogue, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, and Paul Giamatti – look for San Andreas to make its 2D and 3D splash in theaters this May 29, 2015.
