“Selma” Movie Trailer

One Dream Can Change The World

Earlier this year, Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey (along with the help of a few others) launched the official filming for their big Martin Luther King, Jr. movie project Selma. While the forthcoming drama film directed by Ava DuVernay (see: Scandal) is not an autobiographical picture for his entire life, the movie focuses on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches. During the Civil Rights movement, the three marches gained national and worldwide attention – which was initially started as a peaceful protest, which turned bloody.

Watch the official debut film trailer above starring David Oyelowo, Tim Roth, Common, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Oprah Winfrey among many more; and then look for Selma in theaters this January 9th. If you’re in the Los Angeles and New York City area, the film will have a special premiere on December 25th.
