Just as many people in different sectors of life are currently going through the pandemic we know as COVID-19, it has hit the rap community as well.
Today on Instagram, Slim Thug publicly announced that he has tested positive for the virus.
The Houston rapper told his followers that he was taking extra precautions like everyone else, but he still contracted COVID-19. He was at home self-quarantined, using gloves and masks, but still fell victim to the virus. He urged his fans to stay inside as long as possible and to get checked out if you have symptoms.
According to Slim, he had a fever and cough but he’s doing fine now.
In other news, Meek Mill also feels like he had the coronavirus back in December when he felt sick, lost weight and could barely even move.
I was extremely sick in December around christmas time with flu like symptoms… everyday I said to myself a older person cannot survive this! I lost like 15 pounds and could barely move! I never been that sick.. a doctor never told me what it was.
