Leigh Janiak has been tapped to direct the reboot.
Nearly 20 years removed from releasing to theaters, The Craft is set to see an official reboot from Sony Pictures. The original 1996 supernatural teen thriller starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell and Rachel True; and while those actresses haven’t been revealed to have any type of role in the upcoming project, original producer Doug Wick is set to return for the newly announced reboot. Fairuza Balk and many fans have spoken negative about the film in its early stages of development over the entire weekend, but we’re waiting to see how the final presentation looks, so we’re reserving our judgment for the project.
