Go Ninja, go ninja, go!
We like to think the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot last year wasn’t that good or better than the original series, mainly because we loved the original series that much growing up. That doesn’t seem to be the case, as Paramount Pictures and company are readying the release of the film’s second installment with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows
The Turtles are back and it’s a showdown in New York City again as they take on T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman along with the Footclan and the return of Shredder, who’s responsible for creation of the mutants Bebop and Rocksteady. Like they’re known to do, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo, with the help of April O’Neil , Vern Fenwick and vigilante Casey Jones to provide some assistance in preventing the world coming to an end.
Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoud all return as the Turtles and Splinter, with Megan Fox and Will Arnet both reprising their roles as April and Vern. The likes of Tyler Perry, Stephen Amell, Gary Anthony Williams, Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly Laura Linney join as the supporting cast.
You will also see some NBA stars like Carmelo Anthony, DeAndre Jordan, J.J. Redick, Austin Rivers, Matt Barnes and Spencer Hawes making cameos in the movie, as well as Alessandra Ambrosio and the original April O’Neil Judith Hoag.
The Dave Green directed film will release in theaters on June 3, 2016 in 3D and IMAX 3D
