Joel Egerton Takes Charge of ‘The Gift’
Joel Edgerton has starred in huge films such as Zero Dark Thirty and The Great Gatsby in recent years, but now he’s making his directorial debut with The Gift.
The plot is based on a young married couple named Simon and Robyn, whose relationship begins to crumble after a friend of the husband’s reveal secrets of the past. Before they know it, the question of trust comes into place. It stars Jason Bateman, Rebecca Hall and Joel Edgerton himself in the lead roles.
The drama thriller arrives July 31st.
