If you’re familiar with last year’s horror You’re Next, forthcoming psychological thriller The Guest might be something to look out for in 2014.
Dan Stevens stars as recently discharged soldier David Collins, who visits the family home of a fallen comrade, having promised to pay respect before his sudden passing in Afghanistan. David quickly becomes a bigger part of day-to-day life during his stay, through helping the son with school bullies and having a friendly relationship with the daughter. Despite the apparent kindness, a bizarre chain of deaths leaves a question on his true identity.
The film will be out on September 5th.
