Stream it again and again
For those who still haven’t caught The Interview and are subscribed to Netflix, this is your chance to watch the controversial film once and for all. Sony Pictures has announced that the movie is hitting SVOD on January 24 to United States and Canada customers, only weeks after releasing it in limited theaters and through online channels.
The movie has generated about $40 millions in sales through YouTube, Google Play and iTunes rentals, as well as other avenues where it was distributed. Those numbers exceed their projections, after cancelling it’s theater rollout when hackers threatened the company.
The movie stars James Franco and Seth Rogen who’s mission is to take out the North Korean leader and has been the subject of controversy the past month, spawning talks in government surrounding protection from cyber attacks, etc.
