Looking for “The Perfect Guy” after a painful breakup with her husband (Morris Chestnut), Leah Vaughn (Sanaa Lathan), goes bar hopping and it looks like she’s finally met someone to make her forget about her past. After spending plenty of romantic times together, Leah and Carter’s (Michael Ealy) relationship is on the verge of becoming something big. That is until the bad side of Ealy’s character is put on display, which in turn spooks Leah. After ending the relationship, she tries to patch things up with Dave, but Carter isn’t having any of that and does everything in his power to get her back, no mater what.
The David M. Rosenthal directed film is set to hit theaters this September 11th.
