Who would ever think of walking across the Twin Towers on a tightrope for fun? Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play the true story of young dreamer, Philippe Petit, who did that in 1974 in The Walk. As you can see through the trailer, Gordon-Levitt gets a good glimpse of life from the top of the skyscraper, walking over to the ledge and experiencing the high of being off the ground that much. He then poses in one leg, as triumphant music plays.
The Walk is directed by Robert Zemeckis, who also brought us classics like Forrest Gump, Cast Away and Back To The Future and also stars Ben Kingsley, Charlotte Le Bon and James Badge Dale. The film is slated for release in October of 2015.
