Top 10 Marcus Mariota Thoughts After Winning Heisman Trophy

It’s been one hell of a year for Marcus Mariota. After setting school and college records this past season, culminating to his winning of the Heisman Trophy this past Saturday night, the Oregon quarterback hit Late Show with David Letterman to do his world famous “Top 10.”

He’s not the only Heisman winner to hit Ed Sullivan Theater for the show, the likes of Jameis Winston, Robert Griffin and Johnny Manziel all visited as well.

Most of the answers he gave for “Thoughts That Went Through Marcus Mariota’s Mind When He Won The Heisman Trophy” were kind of dull, except for the one shot at the two professional football teams in New York. For answer number three, he asked to play in the Big Apple, but wondered if there were any teams there for him to play for. Dave could be seen shortly after, twisting the knife with a big grin on his face.

For Mariota’s sake, let’s hope he doesn’t end up over with Rex Ryan and company (if he’s still there after the season), but talk about kicking the Giants and the Jets while they’re down.

The Oregon Ducks will face the Florida State Seminoles on New Year’s Day.
