A few months ago, lyrical super group Slaughterhouse hit MTV’s RapFix and made the announcement about their “The Road To Total Slaughter Battle Tournament”/ reality series where they would be bringing some of the most well-respected battle MC’s in the world to face-off in a tournament style royal rumble to determine which two spitters would co-headline the Total Slaughter main event.
For the headlining bout, Eminem & Slaughterhouse pulled strings, some checks and were able to bring Harlem battle legends Loaded Lux and Murda Mook back in the ring for a rematch of one the most debatable battles of all-time. It’s been 10 years since the two MC’s went to war for 15 rounds in Harlem’s Black Star Media store and now they’re both more mature and whole lot to say to each other.

The other headlining battle features Slaughterhouses own Joe Budden getting in the ring with Queens battle legend Hollow Da Don. Budden will be the first established artist to step foot into the battle world and take-on arguably one of the best and most well-rounded MC’s in the sport. Joey has had a long list of on-wax battles where he has came out the victor almost every time, but we don’t think Mouse will hold up to well going up against someone with the skill set of Hollow Da Don who has the ability to freestyle, rebuttal, and more.
