In 2014, Adam Sandler and Netflix agreed to a deal that would bring four original movies to the streaming platform through Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions. The first of which arrived in controversial form last year with the release of The Ridiculous 6. Moving on to his next project, Sandler and Netflix reveal a short preview of his next film titled “The Do-Over.”
The upcoming film, of course stars Adam Sandler and his usual go-to actors for supporting roles that include David Spade, Nick Swardson and Luis Guzmán. “The Do-Over” follows Max and his friend Charlie as they decide to fake their own deaths and start a new life under new identities, but that’s not as easy as one would thing. Especially when the new identities they chose are in even deeper trouble than they were in.
The film also stars Paula Patton, Kathryn Hahn, Michael Chiklis and Sean Astin.
The Steven Brill directed flick is set to release on May 27th.
