Cash Money Records has been in the rap game for decades and a new documentary with Spotify will explore their rise to the top. Titled New Cash Order, Birdman and Slim sit down with the streaming giant to detail their come up, legacy and how they’ve changed the game since. The four-part docuseries will explore how they brought the streets of the New Orleans Magnolia Housing Projects to the forefront, their reign in the early 2000’s and how they took things to the next level with Young Money, signing Drake and Nicki Minaj. The project will also speak to the new acts on the come up, like Jacquees and Blueface.
The series will premiere exclusively on Spotify on February 21 thanks to RapCaviar.
