Rom-Com season starts in time for V-Day!
Following its standout premiers at last year’s SWSW Festival, Simon Helberg’s directed and produced romantic comedy We’ll Never Have Paris will finally hit theaters this month. Similar to his role as as Howard on America’s #1 TV show, The Big Bang Theory, Helberg assumes the role of an early 30s shy guy, Quinn. Still thinking of the right way to propose to his high school sweetheart and long-time girlfriend Devon, she soon thinks he’s trying to break up with her during the midst of his botched proposal attempt. She soon tells him to sow his wild oats, so there’s no regret later in their life, but Quinn only wants to marry the first and only girl he’s ever dated.
After revealing his plans to a girl he would’ve never imagined taking a liking to him, Kelsey, she soon opens up about being in love with him. Now with a super model-like girl ready to talk dirty in the late night, Quinn must decide whether to go through with Devon’s wishes. Quinn soon leaves to Paris, where he finds his soon-to-be fiancé with a new lover – but whether she is willing to return to him remains to be seen.
Also starring Melanie Lynskey, Maggie Grace, Zachary Quinto, Jason Ritter, Alfred Molina and Judith Light – look for We’ll Never Have Paris in theaters January 22, 2015.
