“When I Look In The Mirror” [Documentary]

Usually when we see behind-the-scenes clips for videos, they’re with the director and/or artists talking about what the video is about and why they shot it where they did. 95% of the time, it’s boring and a waste of time. In the few instances where they are actually worth watching, they probably still don’t compare to this.

Instead of putting out footage from the set of John Legend’s “You & I,” EVERDREAM made a creative documentary out of it with the women involved.

The very touching first-hand look explores every woman and young girl’s lives and what they see when they look in the mirror. Everybody’s answer was different and came from their unique point of view, whether they had flaws or not. You can tell that even the teenage girls were quickly figuring out the mature ways of thinking, while most of the older women saw more of an acceptance of who they are.

Even those who experienced cancer or a tragedy, looked past what was on the outside and realized that nobody could change what’s inside.

This should make you love the song even more.
