DC Explains ‘Wonder Woman’ Origins in Film Trailer

Coming to theaters on June 2, 2017!

With Warner Bros. gearing up for the long-awaited theatrical roll-out of Wonder Woman this summer, a new story-line and origins trailer has emerged. Before Diana Prince rejoins the Dark Knight and the rest of Justice League later this fall, her background is showcased from DC Comics.

In the clip above, we see Ms. Prince training as a child, preparing to fight as a warrior on her island of Themyscira; as well as an introduction to the sword and shield weapons for future combat.

Throughout her youth progression to adulthood, she gets more combat training from General Antiope – before the real threat of her homeland and the rest of humanity hits. Enjoy the full clip above, as Diana gets help from Steve Trevor, with the two traveling to England for war against German General Erich Ludendorff – out to use a gas weapon of mass destruction.

Look for the WWI-themed film to hit theaters and IMAX on June 2, 2017.
