Here’s the official Villain for ‘Wonder Woman’!
With filming for Wonder Woman nearing completion, DC Comics was still looking for a lead villain. According to Warner Bros., they’ve casted former Harry Potter star, David Thewlis, to play Ares.
Thewlis is expected to begin shooting practical effects and CGI for the project, which will be added in the coming weeks – ahead of its summer release. Following initial positive reviews of the project, we’re assuming this will be the first widely-accepted installment in the new DC Universe of films. Look for Wonder Woman to open in theaters worldwide on June 2nd.
