2 Milly Sues Fortnite Over Stealing “Milly Rock” Dance

Brooklyn rapper 2 Milly has sued Fortnite over stealing his “Milly Rock” dance, according to Variety.

The New York City native, whose real name is Terrence Ferguson, filed a lawsuit against Epic Games in a California district court today. He claims that the dance moves used in his viral “Milly Rock” video were used for the game’s “Swipe It” emote, without him giving permission and receiving royalties for it.

In documents obtained by Pitchfork, it says that Epic “should not be able to profit from Ferguson’s fame and hard work by its intentional misappropriation of Ferguson’s original content or likeness.”
