Here Are the 2021 GRAMMY Nominations

The 2021 GRAMMY nominations are here and there are plenty of surprises. A lot of our favorite artists are featured on this year’s list.

Beyonce leads the pack with nine nominations, while artists like Dua Lipa, Roddy Ricch all got six nominations each. As you can see, the Album Of the Year category has Jhene Aiko, Post Malone and Dua Lipa in the mix with Coldplay, Haim, Taylor Swift and more.

Best New Artists see Megan Thee Stallion, D Smoke, Doja Cat, Chika, and Kaytranada on there.

In the Rap categories, the likes of Nas, Freddie Gibbs, D Smoke, Royce Da 5’9, Jack Harlow, Big Sean, Lil Baby, DaBaby, Pop Smoke are all in contention.

Interestingly, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” one of the hottest songs of the year, did not make it in any big categories. Abel was effectively snubbed from the GRAMMYs, considering he didn’t even lock in single nomination.

We didn’t see enough Pop Smoke nominations either.

JAY Z now ties Quincy Jones for 80 GRAMMY nominations thanks to his contribution to Jay Electronica’s A Written Testimony album.

The 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will air January 31, 2021 (behind closed doors) on CBS at 8pm EST. Trevor Noah will be the host for the show.
