50 Cent Gives Opinion on JAY Z’s TiDAL Service & Growing Appreciation for Drake’s Music

“The people you saw at the TiDAL launch don’t own the rights to their music”

Following his interview with Big Boy earlier this weekend, 50 Cent stuck around for a few more minutes. During the interview, discussed previously saying Drake was just a dope R&B artist in the past but then soon gained a respect for his art being from previous experiences – which correlate with his music.

He soon touched on not being contacted by the likes of JAY Z and the others involved and said the majority of the people at the panel didn’t own the rights to their music (see: Sony’s current threat to remove their music).

50 felt if he was involved as an independent artist, the launch of TiDAL would’ve been bigger since companies want their artists music on every streaming platform possible. Watch more from the interview above.
