50 Cent‘s Street King Immortal is growing more and more anticipation as the days go by. With hopes of the long-awaited sixth studio effort releasing sometime this year, the NY rapper is doing everything it takes to get the people ready, as if they weren’t already. Yesterday, Fif took to a rooftop in New York City for a performance set and debuted his single “9 Shots” from the forthcoming LP. He explained it as being more versatile than songs from the past and detailing nine painful moments in his life.
The premiere of the song came with news from 50 saying he’s going to sign rising Atlanta rapper Rico Richie, once released from jail.
Look for the single to hit iTunes tonight at midnight. It will also be used during the season two finale of Starz series POWER this Saturday.
