Controversy is constantly around 6ix9ine, whose debut project Day69 recently debuted at number four on the Billboard chart.
The Brooklyn rapper stopped by The Breakfast Club this week for an interview with DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, where he discussed his issues with J Prince Jr., why he pleaded guilty of using a child in a sexual performance, switching gang affiliations from Crip to Blood, why he loves being the most hated figure in the music industry and much more.
“I’m the hottest artist in the city,” he says in the interview. He continues, “I’m not here to fit in. My message is to be yourself, and I’m always myself. Listen, I’m a kid with rainbow hair, right? I’m a kid with rainbow teeth? How am I shaking up the industry like I am? This shit not supposed to happen.”
