With the no. 1 single on Apple Music, 6ix9ine can look past his recent life-threatening situation from last weekend when he was kidnapped. This week, Tekashi made his return to Power 105, this time to sit down with Angie Martinez for his first interview on her show.
During the hour-long conversation, he touched on his early youth years in Brooklyn – including seeing his father dead in the streets at 13. This segued to 6ix9ine opening up on hustling soon after with his older brother, as their house was later raided for a drug bust.
While his older brother took charges, Tekashi was met with a similar situation of facing real time on the inside. After going into detail on his charges, he spoke on a recent conversation with DJ Spinking, where it was revealed that Drake was a fan of his recent single, “Tati.”
