6ix9ine Previews Extended Version of “G.E.D.” Single

More Tekashi 69 music on the way!

At the top of the year, 6ix9ine entered a plea deal with New York City Criminal Court Judge, Felicia Mennin, to avoid prison time for his sex case. In part of the sentencing hearing, the Brooklyn rapper was ordered to meet the terms of his plea deal, passing a high-school equivalency test.

Failure to do so would result in the risk of being sent to prison for three years. Well, following the release of his Day69 album, the independent rapper is looking to continue his success with his upcoming single, “G.E.D.” We’re assuming this is in reference to his on-going legal saga, which even features his first ever non-screaming track (his words). The single was teased on his social media pages earlier this weekend, including a glimpse at his transition to auto-tune.

This winter, Tekashi has generated RIAA-certified gold singles, and charting five singles on the Billboard tracks. Just two weeks after his Day69 album debuted with 55,000 units in first week sales, it looks like he could be readying his next mainstream before the start of summer.

Take a look at the preview below.

Disclaimer: The upcoming single is a revision of Packman’s “Got It, Got It” track.
