It has been three days since Adele released her highly anticipated 25 album and if there’s one thing that proves that it really was one of the most sought after records of the past years, it’s by her sales. And boy did she sell that shit like never seen before.
No, we don’t mean anything we’ve seen the past year. Or even the past five years. Adele is really out here breaking records that haven’t been seen since the boy band era. 25 has already sold 2.3 million units in the first three days, according to Nielsen Music, and projections are showing she might hit 2.9 million by the time the Soundscan week ends on Thursday.
If she breaks the sales history, she will have the highest selling album in the first week ever, surpassing *NSYNC* No Strings Attached, which sold 2.4 million it’s first week.
