It’s the end of the year, so you the roundtable discussions, Twitter arguments and end of the year lists are in full effect. Like we do about every December, Al Lindstrom brings back their tastemaker panel for this year’s artist discussion, adding Charlamagne the God to the debate mix of their Hip Hop Awards Season segment alongside Combat Jack, Jayson Rodriguez, Joe La Puma, B. Dot and Jeff Sledge.
For their first clip, the group discusses this year’s “Rookie of the Year” honors, throwing out names like French Montana, Chance The Rapper, Rich Homie Quan and Troy Ave as possible contenders. After a heated discussion that included them re-defining what a “rookie” really means, they came to a majority decision.
