We were not expecting Alina Baraz to drop an album this New Music Friday, but she surprised everyone with The Color of You this weekend. She’s still building her fanbase, but with Khalid appearing on the effort twice, this one is a sleeper you need to put yourself on to before she gets big. Previous records that were released don’t end up making the cut (except for “Electric“) and there aren’t big names on here, so you’ll get a big dose of Alina throughout the 9-track project.
