Alpo Martinez Shot, Killed in Harlem, New York, in an apparent drive-by shooting this morning with a hail of bullets fired from a passing vehicle. The unfortunate story of Mr. Martinez ended abruptly earlier this morning, when he was shot and killed in his neighborhood of north Manhattan.
Through information confirmed publicly by the New York Daily News, Alpo was struck multiple times in the chest by a hail of bullets fired from a passing vehicle on west 147th st. Shortly after 3:30am, Mr. Martinez was rushed to Harlem but couldn’t be saved upon arrival.
While obvious surveillance will be revealed in the coming hours by the NYPD, we find it shocking that he had his guard down and was moving around with his bullet proof vest we’ve seen him in videos on with.
At the top of the year, Alpo had been of the most requested people to have a sit-down with, including Queenzflip and Vlad being the ones fans wanted to see him sit-down with. While that’s obviously out of the question now, we’re curious how far he got with the documentary he was putting together.
Now that he’s no longer here, we expect his actual full life story to be told, as there will be a major bidding war for his life rights and story.
A 55-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting on a Harlem street corner early Sunday.
The victim was struck multiple times in the chest in a hail of bullets fired from a passing vehicle on W. 147th St. near Frederick Douglass Blvd. just after 3:20 a.m., cops said.
EMS rushed him to Harlem Hospital but he couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately released.
Cops have made no immediate arrests.
